ILM College Sargodha held a grand award distribution
ceremony in the honor of their students who achieved the outstanding positions
in the Intermediate and Secondary education Sargodha Board. The ceremony was graced
by Mr. Rana Mashood, Punjab Education minister, CEO ILM Colleges Mr. Abid HK
Sherwani, Director ILM Colleges, Mr. Zahid Warraich and Education secretary.
Prof Mehboob Ahmed Ch, Principal ILM College welcomed the
chief guest Rana Mashood and other distinguished guests. In his welcome speech
the Principal presented the brief report on ILM College activities and
achievements. He also greeted the students for their outstanding positions in Sargodha
board exams-2015 and prayed for their continual success.
Later, position holders were invited on the stage to receive
their medals from worthy chief guest. On this occasion, distinguished students including
Haris Ashraf, Qais ul Malook, Ayesha Ghani and their parents expressed their great
satisfaction and gratitude to the administration and faculty of ILM College for
their support and encouragement.
Speaking to the gathering, Ch Liqqat Ali Warraich, vice
chairman ILM College congratulated students on their brilliant success and
showed his full commitment to provide the best faculty and every possible
facility to the students to keep up quality education in ILM College Sargodha.
At the end, chief guest Rana Mashood Ahmad Khan, in his
speech, highlighted the various schemes undertaken by the Government of Punjab
to help students getting education. He also shared some of Government’s
initiatives including laptop scheme, scholarships for study abroad and
patronage to the deserving students.
Before the closing of ceremony, Chief Guest, ILM College
Management and distinguished guests of ILM Head Office gave away the bumper
prize of car to Haris Ashraf in token of his overall 1st Position in
the Sargodha Board 2015 by achieving 1040 marks.
